Producer Shankre Gowda smiling with success of ‘Kempe Gowda’ is in this long pending film ‘Srimathi’ made final preparations to release the film. The film is going before the censor board soon.

This is a star studded film – Upendra is with his wife Priyanka after ‘H2O’ – in fact after marriage. Bollywood actors Celina Jaitley, Sayyaji Shindhe and Prem Chopra make debut in this film. This film is known to them as ‘Aitraaz’ (Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra).

Upendra addressing the media disclosed the Nayaka of this film is his wife Priyanka. The film is titled as ‘Srimathi’ he stated. I was quite busy and not allocate date for this film. Yet the film is a nice one. One song Viraha Nooru Nooru…has adjusted to this Kannada cinema aptly stated Upendra.

I have shaved my moustache in this film and this was the demand of a section of women audience Upendra added in his speech.

The original director for this film was Sampath Nandi and he has been replaced by G Ravi. That is because Sampath has not shown any interest to this film and was busy in a big star son Telugu film. Namage Kelasa Madoru Bekkithu….stated Shankre Gowda!

The lovely wife of Upendra – Priyanka felt happy for being a part of this film. I am already with four big stars. After a long gap my Kannada film is releasing. Priyanka disclosed she wanted to be in place of Nayanthara in ‘Super’.

Rajesh Ramnath has scored the background score for this film. He has brought in some Japanese instruments that sound fresh to the ears.
